With 225km of total slope length Arosa Lenzerheide has become one of the biggest ski areas in the Grisons Region. This sunny snow paradise offers countless kilometers of guaranteed snow and diverse slopes.
The numerous state-of-the-art lifts allow switching from one side of the valley to the other in no time, so you can enjoy the great variety of ski runs and experience glittering winter days between white forests, frozen lakes and the snowy landscapes.
Ski-kindergardens facilitate a great and fun start into the snow sports world.
While the smaller kids have fun at the kids kindergarden with funny characters and magic carpets at the Arosa JUNIOR Club, the bigger kids ride the pistes with our competent ski instructors. When booking a day lesson, lunch supervision incl. food will be charged separately.
Whether you prefer rambling, hiking or Nordic walking, you can discover Arosa by foot on our beautifully prepared hiking trails. They will lead you through the busy winter sports area or into hidden side valleys.
Arosa has over 60 kilometres of prepared strolling and winter hiking trails that lead right through the lively winter sports area, to all the mountain huts and through snow-covered forests.
Experience the snowy winter scenery of Arosa by skiing along our various cross-country trails. If you prefer the quieter and gentler version we suggest a hike with snow shoes.
Professionals and amateurs can enjoy the slopes alike and get in the right shape for the winter seasen. The Slopes are open daily, and on the weekends there will be a cross-county-shuttle bus.
Arosa offers a total of 4.5 kilometres of sledge trails, including the popular run from Prätschli to the village, which is illuminated after dark. The free bus brings you right back to the start
A very special sledging experience is Night Sledging. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Phantastic horse-drawn carriage rides through the breathtaking landscape.
Horse drawn sleighs are busy all over Arosa, on-mountain as well as off-mountain and the drivers, horses and sleighs congregate like taxis by the station.
From mid-November to mid-April you can venture onto the ice at our outdoor rink at Obersee lake or in the ice sports hall. Professional skating instructors are available upon request.
Ice skates rental costs CHF 6.00 per person. Please check the ice practice timings at the ice sports hall and the Arosa Tourism Office. Depending on training camps the schedule may vary.
